FEATURED PROJECTS:

What's Your Story?

In early 2022, I launched GREATLAND, an online first-person storytelling collective. It not only serves as a platform for my own writing, but my hope is that it will grow into a place for diverse voices to explore the craft of storytelling. Greatland is open to submissions from all writers and storytellers. Here’s a bit more about GREATLAND:

GREATLAND stands for fearless human storytelling. It is a space for storytellers to innovate and incubate. Whether a longform essay, podcast, or video, the heartbeat of GREATLAND is a raw and fearless voice. We don’t obsess over word counts, and we don’t compromise when it comes to authentic human expression. We are on a simple quest for stories that move us. We dream of narratives that stop us in our tracks. We are a place for storytellers bold enough to crack open the door and let us into their world—so that we may connect, feel, and know. In other words, GREATLAND is a place for you—the reader, the listener, the viewer—and a place for you, the storyteller.

Normalish Podcast (2020)

While locked down at home during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, I began reaching out to people to hear their stories. This led to Normalish, a six-episode podcast that documents the early days of the pandemic in real time–the challenges, the uncertainties, and even the novelties of a life spent mostly at home. This storytelling journey also follows the birth of our first child, a surreal experience heavily impacted by the early peak of the pandemic. Years later, Normalish captures the true innocence and anxiety felt during the spring of 2020, and serves as a unique time capsule of how the early days of the pandemic changed us forever.
